A standout moment of this year's show was the collaboration between the Hakka Association of SA and the Regency Park Horizon Lions Club. Members from both groups came together to support local community initiatives, celebrating multicultural sharing and civic engagement throughout the event.
Celebrating STEM Excellence: 'Ice vs. Fire'
Over in the technology showcase, a talented team of students took home top honours for their interactive control system project, 'Ice vs. Fire'. Winning both First Prize and Best Exhibit in Control Technologies, the team put in weeks of hard work—soldering hardware, mounting sensors, and writing custom code to send live scoring telemetry straight to an LED display in real time.
Pioneering Digital & AI Innovation
Behind these technical wins is the rapid progress in browser-based hardware tools. Platforms like Runlinc AI are making STEM and IoT education more accessible than ever. By allowing fast, browser-based AI code deployment directly to microchips, students and creators can build smart devices and assistive technologies with total ease.
