Successful Guangdong Trip 2026

We are delighted to celebrate the tremendous success of our first-ever Guangdong Roots-Finding Tour, held from 21 to 29 October 2026.This special journey was much more than a trip. It was an opportunity for participants to reconnect with their heritage, explore their family histories, and deepen their understanding of the cultural traditions that have been passed down through generations.

For many participants, tracing their roots provided a meaningful connection between the past and the present. Learning more about family origins and experiencing the culture of Guangdong created a stronger sense of identity and appreciation for the stories, values, and traditions of our ancestors.

Just as importantly, the journey brought people together. Travelling and sharing these experiences strengthened friendships and created a wonderful sense of connection among the group. The memories made throughout the tour will remain with participants for many years to come.

The success of this inaugural tour reminds us of the importance of preserving our heritage and sharing it with future generations. Our roots are not simply about where we came from. They are also an important part of who we are today and the legacy we pass on to our children and grandchildren.

对于许多团员来说，寻根之旅让过去与现在紧密相连。通过了解家族的起源，亲身感受广东的文化与乡情，大家对自己的文化身份有了更深的认识，也更加珍惜祖辈留下来的故事、价值观和传统。更重要的是，这次旅程让大家走得更近。一路同行、共同体验、彼此分享，增进了团员之间的友谊，也凝聚了深厚的情谊。旅途中留下的点点滴滴，都将成为大家多年以后依然珍藏在心中的美好回忆。
