🌟 Building Momentum: Progress Toward Forming the Regency Park Horizon Lions Club

Our community has been steadily moving toward an exciting new chapter — the potential formation of the Regency Park Horizon Lions Club, a collaborative initiative inspired by shared values of service, culture, and community leadership.

This journey began with meaningful conversations and two productive meetings held on 20 February and 20 March 2026 at Novafast, 30/42 Regency Road, Kilkenny SA. Each gathering brought together passionate individuals eager to explore how a new Lions Club could strengthen connections, expand service opportunities, and create a platform where cultural pride and community service thrive side by side.

🤝 A Vision Sparked by Collaboration

This initiative gained momentum following the announcement that Ray Najar, District Governor of the Lions Club, will be joining us at the Hakka Association Dinner on Saturday, 25 October 2025. His interest in forming a new Club that integrates the missions of both the Lions Club and the Hakka Association has inspired many to imagine what a united, service‑driven community could achieve.

Ray’s vision is clear:

• Build a collaborative environment where ideas and resources flow freely

• Strengthen community service through shared values

• Celebrate cultural richness while fostering leadership and growth

• Create a network that benefits not only our organisations but the wider Australian community

The enthusiasm shown at our February and March meetings reflects just how strongly this vision resonates. Membership interest is steadily growing, and each session has brought new voices, new ideas, and renewed energy.

• Exploring how Hakka cultural values align with Lions Club service principles
